Sales Manager – Retail Division

West Chester is seeking a highly motivated individual for a newly created position of Sales Manager position.   This position will be responsible to develop key accounts and grow the companies Canadian retail business.   This highly visible role reports to the Executive Vice President of Retail and requires a focus to seize and create opportunities of the accounts assigned to you.    This position is a newly created and the ideal candidate will be one that is willing to grow accounts, pioneer business and has a strong desire to grow in our organization. 

At WCPG, each employee is their own entrepreneur, therefore the ideal candidate must possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, juggle multiple tasks, and have the drive to win.  You need to possess superior sales skills, market knowledge, professionalism, and strong business relationships.  This candidate will also be responsible for the bottom line management of their accounts, and will influence how products are marketed to their customers.    Experience working with Walmart and managing manufacture representatives is a must.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Be a champion for the accounts you are assigned, internally campaigning, ensuring WCPG team members share your passion for serving your assigned accounts.
  • Grow key sales metrics; revenue, margin, GMROI, turns, exceeding company’s budget expectations.
  • Being a critical and creative thinker, looking for angles to drive seasonal and promotional opportunities.
  • Cultivate opportunities outside of core selling products and departments.
  • Effectively manage manufacture representative’s groups assigned to you.
  • Create and deliver effective and impactful sales presentations.
  • Effectively communicate with customers and internal team members.
  • Negotiate effectively with the customer buying organization.
  • Build strong business relationships at all levels of account’s management.
  • Build an extensive knowledge base in each product category that your customer base covers ensuring that WCPG products are presented.
  • Actively participate in the company’s sales and operations planning processes.
  • Assist the development of strategic sales and marketing platform, strategic account management, and overall sales strategy.
  • Manage customer and selling expenses as if you own the company.

Qualifications:

  • Min+ years experience selling into mass, club, coop, food and drug channels with direct involvement and an understanding of doing business in Canada.
  • Proven track record of growing customer via organic and new business growth
  • 4-year degree, MBA a plus.
  • Strong analytical and financial skills.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, SAP knowledge a plus

 

 

Forklift Operator

    Job Type: Full-time

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • The timely and accurate pulling of product for the production floor, putting in rack locations and inventory cycle counting.
    • The ability to use and RT and SAP as well the ability to multi-task. Candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • The ability to follow directions and/or work independently.
    • Hours are second shift, 3:30pm-12:00am. Must possess the ability and willingness to work over time.

    Requirements

    • Employee must possess good communications skills, math skills, good housekeeping skills and the ability to self-motivate.
    • Certification on MHE is a must. (Certification will be provided).
    • 5 High reach experience is a plus.
    • Training of SAP within the RT handheld will be provided.

    Graphic Designer

    The graphic designer will be instrumental in turning marketing concepts into reality. If you understand the importance of visual appearance and consistency of branding in flawless marketing execution, we want you on our team. Your duties will include creating branded packaging, designing print ad campaigns, developing creative email and social media campaigns that carry over onto a website landing page, producing product catalogs, and shooting and editing product photos. This position requires quick turn-around on projects with exceptional attention to detail. The graphic designer will need to understand how to prioritize, remain positive and promote a fun and enthusiastic work place. This is a full-time position with benefits. This position will report to the Marketing Manager.

    Requirements:

    • Degree in Graphic Design or closely related field (or 3-5+ years of related experience)
    • Understands the fundamental principles of graphic design and photography, including: 
      • Packaging design (tags, inserts, product set wayfinding systems on shelf, etc.)
      • Product design (branding on gloves and apparel, product photography, etc.)
      • Website and social media graphic design (email marketing layout, memes, etc.)
      • Brand stewardship
    • Expert knowledge of software: Adobe Creative Suite – Illustrator/Photoshop/InDesign (on both PC and Mac platforms) and Microsoft Office.
    • Expert understanding of technical graphic design – templates, fonts, layouts, typography, dyelines, color families
    • Proficient in photography and photo editing
    • Proofing and editing skills
    • Great understanding of print, press, paper types/weights and how to execute a graphic project from start to finish
    • Strong organizational skills – filing and keeping records of finalized artwork, proofs for internal navigation
    • Dependable and punctual with strong follow-through.   
    • Creative with a sense of style. Attention to detail and ability to accept direction. Ability to work independently with little supervision, and as part of a team with other staff. Effective communication skills. Positive outlook. A hunger and willingness to work and learn.
    • Knowledge of packaging/merchandising design software a plus
    • Ability to illustrate a plus
    • Video editing a plus

     

    Physical Requirements:

    1.            Sitting at a computer daily.

    2.            Handling of samples - packing, unpacking, moving and storing of boxes -for packaging & inserts

     

    Warehouse Office Clerk

    The primary purpose of this position is to provide a supportive function to the Warehouse Office Clerk ensuring Warehouse Employee’s times and production are captured accurately and maintained in a monthly incentive report.

    Maintaining the monthly incentive report includes, but is not limited to:

    • Analyzing and calculating daily hand-written timesheets from all Production/Rework Employees and Temporary Staff.
    • Interpreting and entering daily production data for all Warehouse Employees.
    • Running reports in SAP and preparing exported data for production number calculations.
    • Analysis of possible discrepancies or outliers to ensure employees accurately meet bonus incentives.
    • Tracking temporary employee’s production numbers.

    In addition to the above tasks, this position will also support additional functions in administrative, shipping/receiving, and payroll as needed. This includes assisting all warehouse management with any requested tasks.

    Qualifications

    • High School diploma or Equivalent Required.
    • Intermediate/Advanced experience in Microsoft Excel Required.
    • Ability to perform routine clerical duties is essential.
    • Ability to add, subtract, multiple, divide units of measure, specifically units of time.
    • Ability to proofread, make corrections and alterations when necessary.
    • Basic understanding of Word and PowerPoint preferred.
    • Prior experience in SAP is preferred.
